Easy home win for Hamburger SV

Tonight we got some German action when VfL Wolfsburg visits Hamburger SV.

I can’t see this not being three easy points for the home side. They are in pretty decent form and is taking on Wolfsburg who havent won a singe match since November.

1.80 for a home win is a good price at Betsson.com and the cautious punter should go for that.

Myself, I’m not feeling all that cautious today and can’t refuse the temptation of a whopping 3.05 for a two goals winning margin. This is not the safe bet of the day. SV win a lot of matches, but usually with narrow margin. But considering the incredible bad performance of Wolfsburg lately I just can’t resist going for it.

Are the Gunners back?

With half the starting lineup still injured Arsenal managed to beat Liverpool away this weekend.

Are they really back in the title race again? Or will there be a negative reaction tonight at Burnley? Not exactly a sexy game, Gunners needs to show that they can grind down opponents like these.

At TopLeague they believe Arsenal to beat the strong-at-home Burnley with at least two goals. I however have some doubts.

So today’s bet will be a win for Arsenal. But with several goals? Nah, don’t think so.

Once again, disclaimer. I am a gooner and it influences me off course. Today I am afraid to believe what I saw Sunday really was a turning point. But I still think they’ll win.

Confusing? Guess so. I’ll put down £100 for an away win @ 1.50.

FC Porto v Chelsea

Back from the dead! Sorry for the long break.

Today we have a lot of great Champions League matches.

In group D, Porto and Chelsea are already ready for the knockout stage. Tonight’s match will most likely determine who will win the group. A draw will be enough for Chelsea to keep control of the group.

Scoring draw is priced at 4.30 by Betsson.com and looks like the value bet of the night. I lay down £100.

In Copa del Rey, the Spanish cup, Valladolid is visiting Mallorca. The home side is always tough to beat in Mallorca and 1.67 is a fair price. £200.

Portsmouth v. Stoke

Time for the next round of the Carling Cup.

Stoke have been on fire on the Premiership lately. Here’s a opportunity for the guys outside the first team to claim their spot. Think they have a fair chance to succeed.

Portsmouth at the bottom of the league table with no home wins shouldn’t be the odds favorite here. But they are! Stoke pays 3.60 right now. Great value! £200.

SC Paderborn 07 v Arminia Bielefeld

Massive action today…. We have to look in the German second division to find anything at all.

In top of the table we find Bielefeld with six straight wins. They are visting Paderborn who have shown increasing strength. This could be Bielefeld’s first loss of points this season. They have three straight 1-0 wins that haven’t looked all that convincing.
